You can edit a job from your customer dashboard while the booking is still in an editable state. The important point is that editing is not just about changing text. Changes can affect bidding, pricing confidence, and whether a carrier needs to review the job again.
1Where to edit the job
Open the customer dashboard, go to your jobs, and choose the edit view for the correct reference. That is the controlled place to update the route, description, timing, photos, and other live listing details.
2What you should change carefully
Minor improvements like clearer wording or extra access notes are usually straightforward. Bigger changes such as changing the route, changing the dates, or changing what is being transported can alter what carriers are actually pricing. If you materially change the job, expect carriers to review it again.
3When editing becomes restricted
Once a booking moves further into the workflow, the platform starts protecting it. For example, once a bid has been accepted and especially after deposit payment, the workflow is no longer treated like an open listing that can be rewritten freely.
4Best practice
Use editing to make the job more accurate, not to reshape it into something carriers did not originally price. If the job has changed significantly, it is better to treat that honestly rather than relying on the old bids as if nothing changed.
